Herring Alarm
Photo: elcarito / unsplash Two days ago I looked up from eating and out of the window. There was a strange cloud above the water. I grabbed my binoculars and held my breath: Hundreds and hundreds of seagulls and among them about forty to fifty eagles. They all...
Harvesting Dolphin – The Making of a Remedy
Foto: L. Garcia / Unsplash A young woman had seen me for a post-concussion syndrome. Since her accident she experienced anxiety, disturbed sleep and poor concentration. What impressed me most when I took her case was her deep connection to the ocean. She loved...
The Intrepid Deer
We were not far from shore when we saw an animal going into the water and starting swimming toward the open water. A fast glance through the binoculars showed that it was a deer, a young buck, horns just as long as its ears. We got a little closer and kept watching. “You Can’t Play in My Key”
“You can’t play in my key,” Jimmy Duck Holmes said to the other five blues musicians on the stage. They all had jammed together beautifully during their performance. When it was Jimmy’s turn, he plaid solo, the others listened respectfully. On a superficial level the...
Spaced Out
Spaced out. Sounds a little weird, doesn’t it? What I want to talk about today, is one major component of health: Space. Let us have a closer look. In your room at home there is a certain amount of furniture and things and there is a certain amount of space. True?...
Sharing the Abundance
Dear Friends, For my Blackfoot family on the prairies, the year starts in spring when the tribe used to break the winter camp and resume their nomadic life. Here on the West Coast, spring starts with the herring spawn. Millions and millions of silvery bodies moving in...
For the Men in Your Life
A good friend of mine and homeopath in Calgary, Donna Powers, just sent me her newsletter and allowed me to forward it to you: For the Men in Your Life “My father was diagnosed with prostate cancer years ago…about 20 years ago or so. Rather than invasive surgery,...
