Nice one Roland. I’lll keep an 👁️ eye out for these.
I love this Roland. I feel you honor this Mugwort in sharing with us here. It was at ceremony one year, that I learned that this “silver sage” we were using for support in many aspects of our process. was the very same plant that we called Moxa in the Chinese medicine clinic. Later I found out that the Chinese character for the word Acupuncture actually includes the radical for needle, but also the radical for the burning of mugwort! That is how central this plant is in the clinical practice of Acupuncture for healing. I love that oyu brought this in, and highlight as well, that it is not showy… it’s kind of an inward plant, with bitter properties… In the Chinese herbal materia medica, it is considered the most balanced (with yin and yang properties) of all the herbs that we have and use for healing. Maybe that is part of why so many societies and cultures all across the world ask for its support in spritual and healing practices. What a beautiful gift she is!!!
