Wow! Roland, this is the most profound statement: “if you are aware that your liberation is tied up with me, let’s work together.” It is also called entanglement. As we work together we transform the chains of unbalanced emotions that bind us. I love listening to your wisdom and experiences. Very enlightening! Have a beautiful day!
This is a beautiful and troubling morning contemplation, Roland, and I thank you for sharing it.
I use the word “troubling”; I mean it in a way that disturbs, filters in and down, permeates the tributaries of one’s thoughts. At some level, I suspect we all must carry these yokes from the past with us, whether aware or unaware of them. It’s the turning-toward such themes and encounters that makes the difference, as you say, in whether one develops resistance and defenses (self protection, insulation), or a vulnerability that invites an authentic encounter along with the potential growth and maturity that might result from the process. We inherit a very sturdy line of excuses, reactions, rationalizations, and refusals to go along with whatever that familial or societal fault line is about: the ‘facts’ about what happened and what should continue to happen or not happen, as a result.
At one level, we are all ‘entangled’ with each other in the matter of “liberation”, itself a lofty idea/ideal. Thank you for your enCOURAGEment and for sharing your experience.
Thank you Roland. So much wisdom…
Thank you Roland.
As a son of German Jews who fled to Canada, I witnessed their unconscious entanglement. It is my responsibility working with people like you to bring it to consciousness and enter the process of healing.
Hi Roland, I think you put your finger on it when you speak of entanglement. We are entangled, I know that very well, and working together helps. Thank you for speaking about this openly,
Mihai
Blessings brother as you continue to share the difficult and painful as we journey on Earth Mother..
