Global warming, wars and terror cover our planet.
Separation creates fear and often leads to violence. We could not war against each other if we would not feel separate, we could not mutilate our food with GMO if we would feel connected with what we eat, we could not abuse Grandmother Earth in the Tar Sands if we could feel her heart.
We need to connect, to connect with one another, to connect with nature, to connect with Spirit.
This is what we invite you to. At the end of the month two paqos (Andean Shamanic Healers) are coming to the Comox Valley. Indigenous people from Peru decided that it is time to share their ancient wisdom with people in the world in order to make the great change to come a beautiful one, a gentle one and in order to go through the major energetic shifts that are happening right now.
For one week Karina Davalos Concha and Juan Apaza will be our guests and teachers. They are traditional Q’eros healers from the high Andes in Peru and they never have been in Canada before. They will lead a despacho ceremony (a healing for the land) and offer one-on-one healing sessions. The highlight will be a weekend seminar in Courtenay on January 30 – 31st “Connecting Mountains – Tapping Into Wisdom”.
This work is needed. We need the spiritual earth wisdom of indigenous cultures to deal with the problems that we created in the world. If you feel called to be a part of the healing, of your own inner healing and of the global healing, here is a unique opportunity to do so. We have the chance of a unique encounter with another culture and spirituality with two healers who are not very experienced in dealing with the Western world. What they offer is not spiritual fast food, not trimmed and streamlined for the Western mindset but it comes directly from a people living in and with the high mountains of the Andes.

The location for the weekend seminar is in the community building of the Creekside Intentional Community at 2202 Lambert Dr, Courtenay. The times will be on Saturday, January 30th from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, on Sunday 31st from 9:30 am until about 4:00 pm.
